May Day is a Time for New Beginnings.

· Do you run a local group or service and want to be better connected?

Join Make the Sunshine for a session focussed on exploring challenges in adult social care and new service ideas that could be generated in response to this. 

Come along to a fun, creative and active session aimed at developing ideas, building a case for support, planning and working up proposals and exploring fundraising advice.

This session is open to everyone in the community - no idea is too big or too small. It's about exploring possibilities together and how community organisations or individuals might connect and support each other.

The session will be facilitated by Make the Sunshine and as part of the session groups will be supported by and have the opportunity to get advice from.

Dr Miranda Millan, Fundraising and Enterprise Consultant from SPARK Somerset –

Miranda has successfully fundraised millions of pounds for third sector organisations. As a Company Director, Governor and Chair of Trustees, she has been designing and delivering training, campaigning, and leading on charity management and governance for more than ten years.

Laura Miller who is Community Development Officer for Shepton Mallet Town Council supporting 100s of community groups and organisations locally.

As well as being attended by NHS staff, Carers Groups, Community Groups and Health Connectors.
