The Hive café and haberdashery in Shepton Mallet, once at the center of a controversy for its nude woollen figures, has introduced a new Glastonbury-themed display, this time to laughter and amusement rather than outcry.

The knitters, known for their creative flair, previously faced backlash for their display figures which had to be censored after one local complained about the explicit details.

After the story appeared on Nub News, it was picked up by national media outlets becoming a national 'and finally...' news story.

However, this latest instalment featuring woollen festival-goers has not sparked any complaints.

Owner of the Hive, Mike Alford, said: "With Glastonbury Festival looming, we thought it would only be fair for the Hive 5 to enjoy the festivities

"We love Glastonbury but can't afford the tickets! We sometimes get the acts come in for a coffee Chris Martin was the last one. Adele was even having a wander the year she was headlining."

The figures are part of the window display which was created to raise money for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

In light of the controversy of the last set of naked doll figures, Mike admitted there has thankfully been no complaints over the latest dolls.

He added: "No one dare I think this time!"
