Starting on Friday, 14 June, and running through the weekend, you can dive into "Living Theology at Ammerdown." This residential course at The Ammerdown Centre in Radstock, led by Fr. Nicholas King SJ and Dr. Sean Ryan, includes lectures and plenaries with full board accommodation. The course runs from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. For more details and to book, visit here.

Also beginning on Friday, the Antique & Collectors Fair returns to the Bath & West Showground. This premier event from the main sponsors of Shepton Mallet Nub News features 600 stands with a wide range of antiques, vintage items, and collectors' pieces. The fair runs from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday and continues on Saturday and Sunday. It's a must-visit for collectors and enthusiasts. For more details, click here.

On Saturday, 15 June, the Shepton Mallet Prison Charity Abseil offers a unique experience for adventure seekers. Set against the backdrop of the prison's 400-year history, participants can abseil from the roof of the prison's workshop building to raise funds for the SOS Africa children's charity. This event runs on both Saturday and Sunday. For more information and to participate, visit here.

Saturday morning also features the "Football is Fun" session at Collett Park. This free, fun-filled football session for parents and their children (aged 3-6 years) starts at 10:00 am. Just turn up and join in the fun. More details can be found here.

If you enjoy community activities, join the "Hoe Down" at Market Cross on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Volunteers will work in pairs to tidy the town centre, which has gotten a bit weedy recently. Bring along your yard brush, dustpan and brush, spade, hoe, or trowel, and help make the town centre beautiful. Contact [email protected] to let them know you're coming. In the evening, the Dorothy House Midnight Walk in Bath offers a brilliant pyjama-themed charity night walk. The event starts at 9:00 pm at the Bath Pavilion and includes a choice of 5K or 10K routes, with plenty of fun activities and a DJ to keep the party going. On Sunday, 16 June, start your day with Free Community Yoga at Collett Park at 10:00 am. Enjoy a serene yoga session in the park and connect with like-minded individuals. No booking required, just bring a mat. Find more information here.
