From motorcycles to flea markets, live music to summer BBQs, discover the vibrant community events in Shepton Mallet this weekend.

This weekend in Shepton Mallet offers something special for everyone, from live music and arts to sports and festivals

From Friday the 11th through Sunday the 13th, the Bath & West Showground will host Triumph TR @ 70 – The International Weekend of Celebration. From the autojumble to live music and a beer tent, the International Classic Car Show is a must visit for car enthusiasts

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bath & West Showground for sponsoring our "What's On" section. Their support enables us to keep the community informed about all the wonderful happenings in our town.

If cars aren't your thing, Montigo Resorts Somerset at Charlton House is hosting a Summer BBQ on Saturday from 12:00–18:00. Come together at Montigo Resorts to experience good food and great atmosphere through the summer holidays. Seasonal meats, fish, and vegetables will be grilled before your very eyes as cider's poured and memories are shared in a laid-back environment oozing rustic charm.

Catch an intimate live performance by Kitty Stewart on Friday at The Art Bank Cafe. The show starts at 20:30, and it's sure to be a treat for music enthusiasts.

If you have items that need fixing, visit The Art Bank Cafe on Saturday from 10:00–12:00 for the Shepton Mallet Repair Café. Organised by Sustainable Wells, this is an opportunity to learn about repair solutions and contribute to sustainability.

Finally, on Sunday from 09:30–16:00, find hidden treasures at The Giant Shepton Flea Market at the Bath and West Showground. Whether you're looking for unique antiques or simply enjoy browsing, this flea market offers something for everyone.

Strode Theatre in Street is also showing the Pixar movie "Elemental" on Saturday and Wells Film Centre is back in action after a power cut last week, with the following films on offer. Even better, for the duration of the school summer holiday, it's just £5 per ticket.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, these events offer a wonderful way to explore Shepton Mallet and enjoy a weekend full of excitement and community spirit. From the roar of engines to the sizzle of BBQ at TIIGO, there's no shortage of things to do and see. Come out and enjoy all that Shepton Mallet has to offer!
