Pillars 501 Shepton Mallet

Residents of Shepton Mallet and beyond have a stylish new bar to enjoy in the form of Pillars 501 which has opened right at the heart of the town in the Market Place.

With the help of Luxe and Twine Interiors - also based in Shepton Mallet - the building has been transformed into a chic, art deco-style venue and forms part of a regeneration project taking place in Shepton Mallet with many new retail outlets now trading in the area.

Shepton Mallet residents will see a big change to their rubbish collections from June 2020 – though some areas of the county must wait two years to see the benefit.

The Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP) is preparing to roll out its Recycle More programme, which will allow a wider range of materials to be collected at the kerbside on a weekly basis.
