HGV Class 1 Drivers needed in Shepton Mallet - NIGHTS - 18ph

Pure staff are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Weston Super mare location.

Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join the team of flexible employees to work with this specific client.

Our client is a large well-known company.

They currently require ongoing HGV Class 1 drivers to work with their current team.

The job itself will be trunking to the pallet network Hubbs to collect loads.

Our clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive C+E Articulated lorry successfully but can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections / trailer swaps are completed.

This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients stores personnel have the best experience with the driver as possible.

Start times can vary but normally between:

• Nights - 1800 to 2000 starts Monday to Friday

shifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift normally.

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have -

• A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License.
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Valid CPC Card.
• Valid Digital Card.
• Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.

Pay rate: 18 Monday to Friday PAYE

Additionally, to the pay you will accrue Holiday pay payable with 7 days' notice of booked holiday. You will also be enrolled after 3 months into a pension.
