Direct Response Employment Services are working with a local organisation in Somerset who are seeking Orchard Operatives on a temporary basis to assist on the farm.

We are looking for candidates who are available from now / September time working through to end of November as a minimum.

As a Orchard operative you will be responsible for the following duties;

• Driving tractors and and trailers safely with the farms to collect and harvest apples.
• Operating machinery on the yard to collect and transfer apples including working on machinery to clear debris from apple batches and washing of apples ready for delivery.
• General clearing and tidying of the yard at the end of each day.

Essential Requirement's:

• Full clean driving licence with Cat F in order to drive a tractor.
• Must have access to own transport.
• Be comfortable with working at height.
• Happy to work outdoors and within all weather conditions.

The role will be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 with a pay rate of 12.40 - 14.00 per hour depending on experience.
