Multi-Skilled Engineer - Food Production

Role Overview:The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our production machinery operates efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery.

• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues promptly.

• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar engineering role within the food production industry or FMCG sector.

• Strong electrical and mechanical skills with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

• Understanding of PLC systems and automated production equipment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
