Forklift Driver Shepton Mallet up to £29,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable forklift operator to work in a dynamic and growing environment. The position is permanent, offering a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, along with various benefits.

  • Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts.

  • Strong organizational skills for handling goods and maintaining records.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude.

Rotating shifts to suit your schedule (06 00 / 14 00 / 22 00)

As a Forklift Driver your duties will involve:

  • Manage all goods in
  • Pack daily orders accurately and on budget.
  • Load and unload relevant delivery vehicles.
  • To work within budgeted cost parameters
  • Manage movement of goods internally.
  • Book in all deliveries cross referencing with delivery notes to make sure all marries up.
  • Record all goods in, supplier, numbers, pallets, dates and location.
  • Inform the relevant people on arrival of any discrepancies on deliveries.
  • Maintain all onsite fridges to make sure of stock rotation and cleanliness.
  • Assist in the end of month stock take of all consumables.
  • Any down time to be spent assisting on the production lines.
