Families visiting Shepton Mallet Prison this February half term can take advantage of a special 'kids go free' deal.

From Friday, 14 February to Saturday, 22 February, children can access self-guided tours for free with every paying adult, saving £10 per child. Each adult can bring up to three children at no extra cost.

The attraction, set inside a 400-year-old former jail, offers visitors the chance to explore at their own pace, take 'CELLfies', and learn about crime and punishment through real stories and displays.

A spokesperson said: "It's the perfect post-Christmas treat for families looking for something fun, low-stress and great value."

Those wanting a more in-depth experience can upgrade to a guided tour for an extra £10 per adult and £7 per child.

The offer is designed with local families in mind and aims to provide a budget-friendly day out during the school break.
