Shepton Mallet Easter egg hunt set for Collett Park
By Laura Linham 12th Feb 2026
Shepton Mallet is gearing up for a free Easter Egg Hunt at Collett Park on Saturday, 4 April 2026, organisers have confirmed. The family-friendly event runs from 2pm to 5pm and is open to all, with activities taking place around the park off Park Road.
Planned attractions include a free Easter egg hunt, face painting, crafts with prizes and lamb and other animal petting. Children are also being encouraged to bring their own Easter bonnets for a parade, with prizes due to be awarded during the afternoon. Event information lists a 2pm start, though the bonnet parade is indicated at 1.30pm; it has not been confirmed whether activities will begin before the listed start time.
The day is being organised by Shepton Mallet Town Council in partnership with Collett Park Café. Final attendance and parking details have not been released, and residents are advised to check official council and park channels before the event.
Collett Park regularly hosts community and seasonal events for Shepton Mallet and surrounding areas, including Darshill and Bowlish, and this Easter Egg Hunt is one of the first big family gatherings in the spring calendar.
