Shepton farm project closes after founder's death
By Laura Linham 19th May 2026
An educational farm project in Shepton Mallet has closed following the death of its founder.
The Good Life Projects C.I.C, based at Rock Farm, confirmed in a social media statement that it is "now closed and no longer operating".
The announcement comes weeks after the organisation shared news of the death of founder Craig Stevens.
In an earlier statement, The Good Life Projects described Mr Stevens as a "generous and loving" figure whose work had touched people across Shepton Mallet and beyond.
The organisation said: "Craig's passion, dedication and unwavering commitment to his animals and the projects he established at Rock Farm were a gift to us all."
The Good Life Projects worked with children, adults with special educational needs and people living with dementia.
The farm project focused on rare-breed farming and educational visits, teaching visitors about food production and rural life.
