A decision about the long-term location of the library in Shepton Mallet is due to be considered by Somerset County Council (SCC) on Wednesday December 18.

Today (December 16) there is an opportunity to view some design ideas about how to maximise the use of the current library, creating a town centre community hub.

This is a chance to join SCC staff and Friends of Shepton Mallet Library at the library any time between 2pm and 4pm or between 5pm and 7pm.

SCC would welcome people's thoughts and further suggestions for how this project may be developed.
