Wanted: Bakers, pet supplies and plants — Shepton Market is on the lookout for new traders

Shepton Mallet's Friday Market is getting bigger and better — but organisers say they're still on the lookout for a few essential stalls to join the line-up.
The town council has already signed up a host of brilliant new traders, but there are a few key gaps they're keen to fill — and they're calling on local businesses to get involved.
Top of the wish list? A baker (because it's not really a market without cake), a pet supplies stall (because Shepton loves a spoiled dog), and someone selling plants or flowers.
They're also on the lookout for traders selling olives, antipasti, nuts, dried fruit, jams, chutneys, and preserves — basically, all the good stuff that makes a Friday wander round the market complete.
A spokesperson said: "We have loads of brilliant new traders on board for the Friday Market but are still on the hunt for a few essential traders — please get in touch if you can help!"
If you're interested in booking a stall or want to find out more, details are available here: https://sheptonmallet-tc.gov.uk/fridaymarkettradersappli/
Shepton's Friday Market takes place every week in the Market Place — and with the sun (hopefully) starting to make an appearance, it's the perfect time to get involved.
