Get ready for a weekend packed with exciting events in Shepton Mallet! Whether you're into art, music, history, or family fun, there's something for everyone.

Start your weekend early with the Shepton Mallet Friday Market on 19th July from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Browse a variety of stalls offering fresh produce, crafts, and more, making it a perfect start to your Friday.

In the evening, don't miss Shepton Get Ur Skates On from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. This fun event for kids and families includes music and dance, promising a lively evening of entertainment.

On Saturday, 20th July, kick off the day with a visit to the New David Shepherd Exhibition at the East Somerset Railway. Opening at 10:00 am, this exhibition celebrates the life and passions of the late David Shepherd, founder of the railway. For adventure seekers, the Guided Tour and The Cell Escape Room at Shepton Mallet Prison offer thrilling experiences throughout the day. The Guided Tour provides a fascinating look at local history, while The Cell Escape Room challenges you to solve puzzles and escape within a set time.

Football enthusiasts can join the Football is Fun session from 10:00 am to 10:45 pm, combining health, fitness, and fun for kids and families.

For a relaxing start to Sunday, try the FREE Community Yoga session at Collett Park from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, perfect for unwinding and connecting with the community.

The Godney Gathering is back at Garslade Farm on 19th and 20th July. Known as the friendliest festival around, this event features an eclectic mix of music with headliners Zion Train and Embrace.
