Four roads in Evercreech face phased closures during broadband works scheduled to last until December. Contractors working for Gigaclear are due to begin on Monday, 2 November, with the programme continuing until Friday, 11 December.

The restrictions cover High Street, Back Lane, Tinings Lane and Westcombe Road. SAS Utilities will carry out ducting and cabling work between 8am and 6pm.

High Street is affected between Tinings Lane and Shapway Lane, while Back Lane is covered between High Street and Westcombe Road. Restrictions also cover 398 metres of Tinings Lane west of High Street, and Westcombe Road between High Street and Spargrove Lane.

The closures will operate in phases when signed on site. The 40-day programme does not mean all four roads will be closed throughout.

Details of the alternative route are available on the roadworks map. Enquiries can be made to SAS Utilities on 07976 020618, quoting reference ttro037057E.
