The Qatar World Cup seems a million miles away from the mud and mayhem of Glastonbury Festival.
But the festival has played an important role in helping the sporting event get underway.
Qatar's World Cup bosses asked Glastonbury Festival chiefs to help plan out the huge desert campsites for thousands of football fans.
And Arcadia - best known as the festival's fire-breathing, lightening-throwing late-night venue, has made its way all the way to Qatar for a starring role in Doha as part of the World Cup festivities.
The 50-tonne, fire-breathing metal structure that Glastonbury itself hires annually from the Bristol-based Arcadia company for the tournament is set up in Doha, as well as the Afterburner and the Bug , are taking centre stage as they host Arcadia, a 17-day festival taking place between November 19 and December 19 at Ras Bu Fontas, Doha.
The electronic music festival will welcome colossal industry names, including Meduz, Paul Van Dyk, Artbat, Claptone, Hot Since 82, Gorgon City, Maceo Plex, Art Department, Alok, Nicky Romero, Nervo, Jonas Blue, Sam Feldt, Roger Sanchez and many more across three stages.
Speaking about the events Mac.s.Far, Chief Executive Officer of Alchemy Project Entertainment said: "The Spider (stage one) is a phenomenally impressive asset that gives all audiences goosebumps; the Reactor (stage two) is an intimate and extraordinary stage that engages fans in a whirlpool of quality music and ever-lasting memories and the Curve (stage three) is a mixture of live and interactive stage where guests watch the broadcast of the games and dance to live music in between the matches. Overall, the line-up of artists preforming in Arcadia will be as impressive as the structures themselves.
"We are profoundly excited to bring this unique and extraordinary experience to Qatar and the region for the very first time and take it to the next level. The level of entertainment in the upcoming period in Qatar will be unlike anything anyone has ever seen in any previous mega-event. During November and December 2022, the eyes of the world will be on Qatar and we are looking forward to celebrating national teams, fans and dance music during this exciting period and making memories that last a lifetime.
"We thank the state of Qatar, supreme committee, Q22, Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism, and all other stakeholders and supporters for supporting this phenomenal project and providing us an opportunity to share this indescribable experience with fans from across the globe. We hope to deliver a project the fans would remember and the city to be proud of"
The tiny Gulf state expects a total of 1.6million people to visit during the month-long 2022 tournament.
