Youths gathered at St Paul's Church war memorial triggered police patrols to curb anti-social behaviour
Local officers stepped up patrols at St Pauls Church in Evercreech after reports of youths congregating near the church's restored memorial cross. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the behaviour was first reported in early December and responded by placing a PCSO on high‑visibility duty in the area.
A police spokesperon said: "No further incidents have been recorded since patrols began, but the location will remain under observation as part of ongoing community‑policing efforts. Residents are reminded they can report any anti‑social behaviour via the police website or by calling 101.
