BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time will be recorded at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet on Tuesday, 14 January 2025, as part of a special event hosted by Shepton Snowdrop Festival in partnership with Kilver Court.

The event will see a celebrated panel of gardening experts, including Anne Swithinbank, Matthew Wilson, and Pippa Greenwood, answering questions from local gardening enthusiasts. Peter Gibbs will chair the panel during the recording, which begins at 6pm, with doors opening from 5pm.

Gardeners' Question Time has been a staple of BBC Radio 4 since 1947, attracting around two million listeners each week. Known for its diverse recording locations, the programme has previously broadcast from sites such as Mount Snowdon, Buckingham Palace, and even 10 Downing Street.

The panel never sees the questions in advance, with their responses completely spontaneous, showcasing their extensive gardening expertise and ability to tackle a wide range of horticultural queries on the spot.

Tickets for the recording are priced at £4.50 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
