The Amulet - Live Music Weekender

In partnership with Croissant Neuf, we are excited to present a two day weekender of live music:

FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER

Banco de Gaia has been performing and releasing for over 30 years, making him one of the world's most respected digital audio artists. His legacy of world-infused dance and ambient music is as glittering as it is diverse, ranging from Hollywood film sound credits to the critically acclaimed Last Train to Lhasa, first released to a rapturous reception in 1995.  Live, he has worked in a range of formats ranging from solo shows to a full 5-piece band. He is currently touring as a solo show accompanied by a live video artist.

Mike Dennis brings classical violin loops with ferocious tongue-twisting wordplay slathered over the top and homemade breakbeats. Some overheard Mike Dennis analogues: Kishi Bashi meets Mike Skinner. Dizraeli meets Seth Lakeman. The musical Hamilton in a one-man act.

SATURDAY 27th SEPTEMBER

Zemroy Thomas, better known by his stage name Da Fuchaman, is an internationally renowned Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter and member of the Rastafari movement. Da Fuchaman's music is deeply rooted in spirituality and he prides himself for spreading love and positive vibrations to the masses everywhere that he goes.

He and his ten-piece collective have been taking the festival scene by storm; Headlining Bristol Harbourside Festival, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender and Inglefest and performing at a diverse range of festivals including Zwarte Cross (NL), Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party, Tropical Pressure, Kendal Calling, Greenman, Forwards Festival, Valley Fest, Moovin Festival, Riddim and Reggae Festival & Falmouth Reggae Festival and many more.

Exploding onto the scene in 2015 Welsh DJ/producer Timbali, with his tight productions and eclectic style, has become a successful gure in the reggae and dancehall scene. As success continues with his studio productions, such as the no.1 single on Beatport 'Killing Sound' with

Skarra Mucci and numerous BBC Radio plays of other tracks, including "All My Days" featuring Lutan Fyah and "Dead Yuh Dead" featuring Peppery, the live shows have seen him become a festival favourite.

DJ Karl will open proceedings, with tunes to Keep All Ravers Lively.

Friday only, Saturday only and Weekend tickets available via https://buytheamulet.org.uk/events/

Doors: 7pm (Fri), 7.30pm (Sat). Licensed bar. 18+ only event
