The Royal Bath and West Show is back on June 1-3, 2023, with a weekend full of exciting live performances, mouth-watering cuisines, and lovable animals.
A Great British family day out and a firm-favourite local event, the Show will feature a plethora of activities, demonstrations and entertainment; including interactive activities, fast pace excitement in the Main Ring and a much-enhanced food hall experience.
And this year's Royal Bath & West Show will showcase the power of vintage machinery and the progression of tractor technology.
Enthusiasts and visitors can look forward to over 50 rare and vintage tractors from various parts of the UK making their way to the event, taking place at the Bath and West Showground between June 1 and 3rd.
The agricultural revolution has played a pivotal role in transforming the British landscape and revolutionising food production and the vintage tractor entries at the Bath & West Show offer a unique opportunity for the public to witness the progress of tractor technology up-close.
One of the key innovations in tractor technology was the transition from tractor-vaporising oil (TVO) to diesel in the late 1940s. This shift facilitated smoother operations and enhanced economic performance.
Throughout this year's show, vintage steamers, tractors, and heavy goods vehicles will be conducting demonstrations in their dedicated arena, captivating audiences with their historic charm. Moreover, they will also take part in parades within the main arena on all three days of the event.
Among the impressive lineup of 50 tractor entries, the oldest one this year is the 1947 David Brown.
Robin Hatcher, vintage tractor steward and representative of the Ferguson club area, said: "We have an intriguing collection of other vintage vehicles and implements, ranging from a 1948 Grey Ferguson and Fords, to a 1986 John Deere 3040 two-wheel-drive and a 1992 John Deere 4055."
Make sure not to miss the vintage tractor main ring parades on June 1 at 2:15 pm, June 2 at 2:30 pm, and June 3 at 4:55 pm, all of which are part of the grand parade at the Royal Bath & West Show.
Ticket prices have been frozen for the third Show in a row, with Advance Saver Tickets starting from £22 per adult. Each Advance Saver ticket also allows FREE admission for two children, making the Royal Bath & West Show a great value day out.
