Top food and drink trade show heading to Shepton Mallet for the first time

A new one-day trade show is coming to Shepton Mallet next year – and organisers say it'll bring together some of the biggest names in the region's booming food and drink sector.
The Source Roadshow will make its debut at the Bath & West Showground on Wednesday 25 February 2026, with more than 100 exhibitors already lined up to take part.
Run by Hale Events – the team behind The Source and Expowest Cornwall – the new event promises to give cafés, restaurants, producers and suppliers a dedicated place to connect, sample products, and explore new opportunities.
"We have organised trade shows all over the UK, but never in our home county, so it's exciting!" said Hale Events managing director Mike Anderson. "We already have an exciting mix of exhibitors confirmed, and we are already registering interested buyers."
Confirmed names include Baboo Gelato, Barber's Farmhouse Cheesemakers, Matthew Clark, Purple Planet Packaging, R D Johns Foodservice, The Real Olive Company and Westcountry Fruit Sales – covering everything from catering equipment and foodservice to packaging, dairy, and drink.
Despite Somerset's rich food and drink scene, organisers say this is the first time a dedicated hospitality trade show has taken place in the region.
The show is free to attend for trade buyers, and is expected to attract interest from across Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and beyond. As well as stalls and samples, it will also offer networking opportunities with groups like FareShare, the FSB, Visit Somerset, and local colleges offering apprenticeships.
Backed by Taste of the West and key media partners, the Source Roadshow is tipped to become a new annual fixture in the industry calendar.
