Tickets have gone on sale for the South West Comic Con and Gaming Festival, which is being held at the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet, in June next year.

The showground is a new venue for the event, which will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday June 6.

New attractions are being added all the time, but Star Wars fans are in for a treat as already on the programme are a Yoda prop set, Darth Maul and a Wampa Cave.

Other cult favourites appearing include Falkor for the Neverending Story, Gremlins and Titan the Robot.

In terms of gaming attractions, there will be a Gamers' Bus and retro arcade gaming zone.
