The Old Stables Bed & Breakfast in Chelynch is a finalist in the Somerset Tourism Awards, specifically in the Dog-Friendly Business of the Year category.

Already an award-winning establishment, the B&B is renowned for its focus on local produce, such as Somerset Yeo Valley yoghurt and homemade jams, for its breakfast offerings.

Dog owners are especially catered for at The Old Stables. Upon check-in, each dog is presented with a special doggy welcome pack.

The pack includes a set of bowls, a placemat, a treat jar, towels, poop bags, and cleaning materials. There's even a designated dog waste bin located in the garage for convenience. And as a keepsake for your pet's adventure, each pup receives a toy to take home.

The winner of the coveted Dog-Friendly Business of the Year award will be announced at a ceremony on November 30 at The Bristol Hotel.
