After the hustle and bustle of the festival, things are a bit quieter this weekend.

However, there's still plenty happening in and around the area. Here's a roundup of events to help you make the most of the weekend.

Kick off your Saturday evening with some soulful tunes at the Hip City Classic Soul session at the Art Bank in Shepton Mallet. Starting at 7 pm, this event promises the best of Northern Soul, Classic Soul, Motown, and R&B, all played on authentic 60s and 70s vinyl. With a great atmosphere, free parking at Great Ostry, and affordable entry (£3 for one, £5 for two), it's the perfect way to relive those classic dance hall days. More details and tickets here.

If you're looking for a unique experience on Sunday, head to Create@#8 in Shepton for the Public Resting Event hosted by artist Luminara Florescu. From 2 pm to 4 pm, you are invited to spend some time doing nothing in a restful and reflective environment. Bring a blanket, pillow, and something to lie on for this silent event aimed at exploring rest as a necessary part of life. More details here.
