Dog lovers are in for a treat this April as The Big Bark 2025 returns to the Bath & West Showground for its fourth year.
The popular event, organised by A Doggy Day Out, promises a jam-packed day of canine activities, expert talks, and shopping opportunities, making it the perfect day out for families – with or without a four-legged friend.
Taking place on Sunday, 13 April, from 10am to 4pm, The Big Bark will feature a variety of Have-A-Go arenas, giving dogs the chance to try out activities like agility, flyball, hoopers, scent work, cani-cross, and scurry. Whether your pup is a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, these activities are open to all breeds, ages, and abilities.
For those who prefer to watch rather than take part, there will be dog display shows, party games, and expert talks covering topics such as obedience, training, diet, and wellbeing. There's also a charity dog show, where proud owners can enter their pooches into fun categories.
Visitors can explore an array of shopping stalls selling dog-related products, while food stalls will offer a selection of street food and refreshments. The Wags Café will even serve puppuccinos and doggy biscuits, ensuring furry guests get their fair share of the fun.
With free parking, level access, and plenty of grassy areas for picnicking, the event is designed to be accessible for everyone.
