Residents have until Tuesday, 10 November, to comment on plans for up to 49 homes on land off Fosse Road in Stoke St Michael, near Shepton Mallet.

Woodstock Homes has submitted an outline planning application that also includes public open space, landscaping and infrastructure.

Access is included for detailed approval, while other matters would be considered later if the application is approved.

The application, reference 2026/1647/OUT, was validated by Somerset Council on 21 September and remains under consideration.

Stoke St Michael Parish Council previously announced a public meeting with the developer at the War Memorial Hall on 16 September, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions about the proposals. Comments can be submitted through Somerset Council's planning portal using the application reference.
