Wells Comedy Festival (23–25 May, Wells)

England's smallest city is about to host some of comedy's biggest names. Wells Comedy Festival returns with Simon Amstell, Sara Pascoe, Sam Campbell, Rosie Jones and loads more funny people crammed into two days. Save The Art Bank (Saturday 24 May, Shepton Mallet)

Shepton's creative HQ needs your help – and they're throwing a day-long party to earn it. Expect live music, workshops, games, street food, cocktails, and a DJ to close out the night. Avalon Acoustic Sessions: Alex Roberts & Rodney Allen (Saturday 24 May, Glastonbury)

St Aldhelm's Day Mini Art Pilgrimage (Sunday 25 May, Shepton Mallet to Doulting)

Magique: Fire and Water (Tuesday 28 May, Wookey Hole)

Art Bank Introducing: Major Malfunktion & Bugmouth (Thursday 29 May, Shepton Mallet)

Royal Bath & West Show (29–31 May, Shepton Mallet)

It's Somerset's biggest countryside bash – complete with livestock, food, music, crafts and chaotic fun in the Main Ring. Dogs welcome, parking's free, and there's even live music in the Pilton Tent. Plan your rural adventure here

Wookey Hole goes Broadway (and dinosaur)
