Shepton Mallet’s warm spaces provide safe havens for residents this winter

With rising heating costs and colder weather heading our way, several locations in Shepton Mallet are opening their doors as warm spaces for those needing support. These venues offer warmth, refreshments, and access to community resources, helping residents stay connected and comfortable throughout the winter months.

Here's a list of the warm spaces currently available in Shepton Mallet:

  • Grace Harris House (24 Town Street, BA4 5EF)
  • Open: Tuesday and Thursday (11am–2pm)
  • Facilities: Warm space, refreshments, hot meals, Wi-Fi, and housing advice.

  • Open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (9:30am–5pm), Saturday (9:30am–1:30pm)

  • Open: Tuesday (11am–1pm)
  • Facilities: Warm space, free Wi-Fi, hot meals, accessible venue, and signposting to local services.

  • Shepton Mallet Baptist Church (15 Commercial Road, BA4 5BU)
  • Open: Monday and Thursday (10:30am–12:30pm)
  • Facilities: Warm space, refreshments, accessible venue, and friendly support.
