Window Wanderland is running in Shepton Mallet from 30th November to 3rd Decemberand houses businesses, shops and anyone with a window are invited to join in.

The idea is simple – decorate your windows with a design, picture, some fairy lights or an installation and leave your lights to be part of a magical night trail.

This community initiative, a partnership between Shepton Mallet Town Council and Make the Sunshine CIC, encourages locals to decorate their windows, contributing to a captivating trail that illuminates the town after dark.

While specific participants and launch event details are yet to be announced, the occasion has previously seen a wide range of contributions from residents, businesses, and educational institutions. The initiative is open to anyone in Shepton Mallet, and those interested in adding their own creative flair to the event can register their windows online.

Though the event serves as a beautiful visual spectacle, the core aim of Window Wanderland is to foster community spirit. According to organisers, the event is less about artistic skill and more about having fun and engaging with neighbours.

To find out how to register and for more details about the event, interested individuals can visit the official Window Wanderland website.
