Applications are now open for traders, performers and sponsors to take part in this year's Collett Park Day — Shepton Mallet's biggest annual community event.

The 2026 celebration will take place in Collett Park and bring together live music, food, arts and entertainment, with a strong focus on local charities and community groups. Last year's event attracted over 5,000 visitors, and organisers say this summer promises to be even bigger.

Live performances will return to the historic bandstand, with additional community acts, children's activities, food trucks, stalls and a licensed bar throughout the park.

• Local trader stalls: £50 for Shepton residents, £60 for non-residents
• Stall types: General traders, food vendors, community & charity groups
• Other applications: Performer pitches, car boot traders, sponsorship packages

The event is organised by Shepton Mallet Town Council, which is offering sponsorship packages from bronze to gold tiers — including banner display and promotional opportunities across the site.
