This newsletter is sponsored by the Bath and West Showground, who have put on a hugely busy weekend for you.

Starting off on Sunday, 4th February, food enthusiasts can indulge in a Pasta Making Experience at the Bath & West Showground. Federico, the owner and founder of Pasta Laboratory, brings his successful pasta-making experience to Shepton Mallet. This class is perfect for anyone, regardless of their cooking abilities, and covers the art of making fresh pasta like Tagliatelle, Tagliolini, and Tortelli. Participants can enjoy their pasta creations over a glass of wine after the class. For more details, visit Pasta Making Experience.

The Alternative Convention, taking place on the same day at The Showground, is an event that promises great shopping, exhibitors, entertainment, music, and street food. Attendees can expect entertainers like stilt walkers and characters like Orcs, providing excellent photo opportunities. For those interested in tattoos or unique haircuts, tattoo artists and barbers will be on site. It's an all-encompassing event with something for everyone. More information can be found at The Alternative Convention.

For young and aspiring drivers, the 2nd2None Driving School offers an Under 17s and HGV experience at The Showground. This event allows youngsters to get a taste of driving under the supervision of DVSA-approved instructors. The driving experience is open to anyone aged 10 and above, and there's even an opportunity for over-17s to try their hand at driving an HGV DAF XF Tractor unit. To learn more, visit 2nd2None Driving School.

Adding to the excitement, the Somerset Comic Con and Gaming Festival will be held on Saturday, 3rd February at the Bath and West Showground.
