Shepton Mallet FC has thanked its sponsors and supporters for backing the club throughout 2025, as preparations begin for the 2026 season under returning manager Craig Loxton.

In a festive message shared by the committee, the club wished all fans and sponsors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and said it was "hugely grateful" for the contributions made both on and off the pitch over the past 12 months.

The committee said the return of former manager Craig Loxton and a reshaped squad means the new year promises to be "an interesting one", and called on the Shepton Mallet community to continue backing the team into 2026.

Loxton's return marks a new chapter for the club, as it looks to build momentum and drive performance in the coming season. He previously led the team during a successful spell and brings experience and familiarity back into the dressing room.
