By Laura Linham 10th Jun 2026
Shepton Mallet's Collett Park Day returns this Saturday with a full day of music, food, stalls and family entertainment.
The event takes place at Collett Park on Saturday, 13 June, from 10am to 5pm.
This year's celebration will also mark the 120th anniversary of Collett Park.
Shepton Mallet Town Council says the day will celebrate the traders, performers and community groups that help make the event special.
Visitors are being encouraged to bring friends, family and picnic blankets for the day in the park.
There will be live music on the bandstand, community performances and activities across the site.
The line-up includes community stalls, shopping, plants, games, a tombola, face painting, glitter tattoos and free bouncy castles.
There will also be a fire engine, model boat club, Castle Cary Cygnets Majorettes, Cirque de Silk and have-a-go sports day games.
Food and drink will include woodfired pizza, Thai food, Caribbean cuisine, burgers, hot dogs, hog roast, bubble tea, milkshakes, freshly squeezed orange juice and ice cream.
Pop's Thai Kitchen has confirmed it will be serving Thai food on the day.
Free parking will be available off Cannard's Grave Road in the Old Showground Fields.
The town council said the event brings live music, food and entertainment into the park to "celebrate everything that makes Shepton great".
Sponsors for this year's event include Brothers Cider, British Renewables, Christopher Young Opticians and Della Valle Architects.
