Teenagers and adults can take part in free boxing sessions in Shepton Mallet throughout November. The town council's winter wellness programme will bring four sessions to 64 High Street.

They take place on Tuesdays, 3, 10, 17 and 24 November, from 5pm to 6pm. Anyone aged 12 or over can attend, with a maximum of 20 people per session.

There is no advance booking, so places will be allocated first come, first served. The boxing forms part of a programme running until March 2027.

October's activity has been seated Tai Chi at the library, with the final session on Wednesday, 28 October, from 4pm to 4.45pm. Further information is available on the town council's Hello Shepton website.
