Shepton Mallet is set to sparkle with festive cheer as the town's much-anticipated Christmas Lights Switch-On event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 1st December, from 5 to 8 pm in the Market Place.

This year's celebration promises to be a memorable one, with a host of exciting attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Adding to the festive atmosphere will be the delightful presence of Kelly's Donkeys, offering a unique experience that is sure to be a hit with both children and adults alike. Alongside this, the magical Santa's Grotto will be open, providing children with the chance to meet Father Christmas and share their holiday wishes.

The event will not only be about the lights and donkeys; there's an array of activities planned to ensure a joyous evening for all. Attendees can look forward to a variety of hot food stalls serving up delicious treats, alongside festive drinks to keep the chill at bay.
