Shepton Mallet AFC to host charity family fun day

Shepton Mallet AFC is set to host a charity family fun day next month, with football, food and entertainment planned across the afternoon.
The event will take place at Shepton Mallet Football Club on Sunday, 3 May 2026. Family activities are due to start from 12 noon, with the match between Rits Team and Shepton Allstars kicking off at 2 pm.
Organisers say there will be plenty for families to enjoy, including kids' games and challenges, food carts, bouncy castles, an ice cream van and live music.
As well as a day of football and entertainment, the event will also raise money for Riders in the Sky, Shepton Mallet AFC and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
In a message shared ahead of the day, the club said it is set to be "a brilliant day for the whole family" and urged people to come along, support the causes and enjoy a community day at the ground.
