Shepton Mallet AFC is inviting supporters to sponsor seats in the Haydn Jones Memorial Stand as the new season gets under way.

Seats are available to sponsor for £25 each for the 2026/27 season. Sponsors can choose the name displayed on the seat, with options including individual supporters, partners, family members, loved ones or businesses.

The club said the scheme is a way for people to support the Mallet while leaving a visible mark at the ground. Each sponsored seat will also be entered into a draw, with prizes including matchday hospitality, a season ticket and club merchandise.

The sponsorship appeal comes as Shepton's first team has started the season in strong form. The Mallet opened their campaign away at Liskeard and came back with three points, before beating Wellington 4-0 in their first home fixture on Tuesday, 27 July.

The next two fixtures are also at home. Shepton host Sidmouth Town on Saturday, 1 August, with kick-off at 3 pm, before a local derby against newly promoted Wells City on Tuesday, 4 August, with kick-off at 7.30 pm.
