Community groups in Shepton Mallet have one week left to apply for town council funding to support their work.
Applications for the autumn community grant round close on Thursday, 15 October, with one-off awards of up to £2,000 available.
The money can support new projects, help existing services continue or provide matched funding towards a wider scheme.
Applications must come from a properly formed group, club, committee or charity with community or charitable aims. Groups must demonstrate that their work benefits Shepton Mallet residents.
Two categories of one-off funding are available. Small grants range from £1 to £500 and cover running costs, while larger grants of £501 to £2,000 can also support capital spending.
The council also offers strategic grants providing support over more than one year through an agreement with the organisation.
Applicants are asked to explain their group's purpose, achievements and how residents can take part in its activities, alongside details of the funding requested.
The application form is available on the town council website.
