Prestleigh Hill resurfacing work should finish up today

Somerset Highways are reporting that they will be finished today (October 30) on resurfacing work - despite the weather conditions this week - on time on Prestleigh Hill near Shepton Mallet.

The highways team have been working on the road since October 26.

The Somerset Highways team say that this is just one of 58 improvements that are currently ongoing - with 416 planned before the year's end.
