Shepton Mallet panto Scrooge hits Create#8 Thursday

Shepton Mallet's festive season gets a theatrical boost this Thursday as Tor Theatre brings Scrooge – Oh No It Isn't! to Create#8 on Town Street.
The one‑hour pantomime runs from 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm on 18 December and offers a playful, high‑energy twist on Charles Dickens' classic, with plenty of laughs and audience participation.
Tickets cost just £2 per person, with a £1 booking fee for online purchases. Organisers say the show is perfect as an after‑school Christmas treat and suitable for all ages — "fun and laughter are guaranteed for everyone." Mince pies, tea and coffee will be available, and there'll be a small selection of Make the Sunshine donation gifts for sale.
The performance takes place in Create#8's friendly temporary pop‑up space, providing a warm festive atmosphere for families and friends.
