Summer's coming – and Shepton Mallet Lido is making a splash with its early reopening this year.

The much-loved outdoor pool will welcome swimmers from Friday 3 May, just in time for longer days, warmer weather and family fun in the sun.

There's a splash area for the kids, drinks and snacks from the on-site shop, and plenty of space to stretch out and soak up the sunshine.

Run by Fusion Lifestyle, the Lido is a favourite with locals and visitors alike, with the charity promising to keep reinvesting in the site year after year.

And there's good news for regulars too, as season tickets and memberships will be available for the first time this year, giving swimmers even more reason to keep coming back.

Family swim sessions will run throughout the May half term and beyond, making the Lido one of the top spots for summer fun in Shepton.
