16th Jul 2021 | Local News

In less than 24 hours' time, Shepton Mallet residents will go to the polls to choose their new MP.

Assuming you've not already voted by post – or aren't voting by proxy – you'll be lining up outside your local polling station to mark your ballot paper.

Every polling station in Somerset will be open between 7am and 10pm – but make sure you don't leave it until the last minute to cast your vote and make a difference.

Your local polling station will be listed on your polling card, which you should have had in the post days ago.

If you've mislaid your polling card, don't panic – you don't have to have it with you in order to be able to vote.

But if you can't find it, here's a list of every polling station in the Shepton Mallet area so you can find your nearest one.
