Fire crews attend gas leak in Pylle

Fire crews attended a gas leak from a caravan in Pylle at lunchtime today (February 20).

Just before 12.45pm, fire control received a call from the ambulance service asking for their assistance with a gas leak from a caravan in Fosse Way, Pylle.

Two crews from Shepton Mallet and a Environmental Protection Unit from Gillingham, in Dorset, were sent.

On arrival crews confirmed there was a gas leak and it was isolated by crews using two breathing apparatus and a gas monitor.
