Residents and businesses have been given a final opportunity to share their priorities for Shepton Mallet before a town-wide consultation closes.

The Shepton Mallet Town Board has been gathering views since Monday, 22 June, with responses due to close on Friday, 31 July.

Leaflets explaining the work of the board have been distributed to homes around the town, while separate requests have been made for feedback from local businesses.

The board brings together the town council, businesses and community representatives to discuss Shepton Mallet's needs and help shape its future direction.

Residents are being asked to identify the issues they believe should receive attention and the changes they would like to see in the town.

Businesses and organisations have also been invited to contribute their experiences and priorities.

The consultation is intended to provide the board with a clearer picture of what matters to people living and working in Shepton Mallet before it develops its plans.

Anyone who received a leaflet but has not yet responded has until the end of Friday to take part.
