Drugs and money seized during search of property in Shepton Mallet

Drugs and money have been seized during a search of a property in Shepton Mallet.

A search warrant was executed by the neighbourhood policing team, under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the property in Wainwright Court.

A quantity of what is believed to be class A drugs was seized, which will be forensically examined.

In addition a large amount of cash was seized during the search, together with mobile phones and scales.

Two men, aged 22 and 56 years, voluntarily attended a police station and have been released while police enquiries continue.
