Shepton Mallet will be alive with creativity this November as Shepton Artists launch an ambitious month-long pop-up exhibition featuring the work of 20 artists. The exhibition will be held at 8 Town Street (BA4 5BG) and will be open to the public every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM throughout November 2025.

The public is warmly invited to kick off the exhibition at the special opening party on Thursday, November 6th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM where visitors will be welcomed with a celebratory glass of prosecco. In a show of community support, nearby shops, restaurants, and bars will extend their opening hours until 9:00 PM for a lively evening of art, shopping and dining.

A mid-month 'All Change' launch event will take place on Friday, November 21st, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This unique evening will see a selection of new artists step in to display their work, alongside new creations from those already exhibiting, offering visitors a completely refreshed experience. Attendees can celebrate the swap-over and the continuing exhibition with complimentary Pilton Cider.

The exhibition will end by getting into the festive spirit with a special Sunday opening on 30th November to coincide with the Shepton Mallet Christmas Market. This will provide a perfect opportunity for families visiting the market to enjoy some art and support local artists.

Visitors can expect a diverse display of paintings, drawings, fused glass, ceramics, collage and stone carvings. Prints, cards and some affordable and very collectible art will be on show. Each artist will be bringing some work not shown in Shepton before so come and meet them again or visit for the first time. This is an exciting opportunity to view and purchase original artworks directly from their creators.

Shepton Artists is a collective of Somerset-based artists who regularly meet to collaborate and exhibit their work, encompassing a wide range of artistic disciplines and highlighting local talent.
