Shepton Mallet town councillors were among those who took part in the final lantern making workshop of the year.

They are, pictured from left, Cllr Neil Shearn, Cllr Martin Lovell, Cllr Sharon Hale, Cllr Gavin Mayall, Kate Lovell (chair of the Shepton Mallet Lantern Festival) and Cllr Matthew Harrison.

The Lantern Parade assembles on Saturday December 21 at 5pm in Collett Park, Shepton Mallet.

Bring your lanterns, torches and LED lights to the park for what promises to be a spectacular experience.
