A raffle is being held in Shepton Mallet later this month to raise money for the children's charity NSPCC.

The Raiders Raffle is being held at Shepton Mallet Football Club on October 24, with tickets at £1, and it is for over-18s only.

It is being organised by John Williams, who has arranged no less than 49 prizes for ticket-holders to win.

First prize is £100 of Marks and Spencer vouchers donated by Liam Bounds of Bounds Electrical Services, with second prize being a three-day hot tub hire complete with gazebo and LED/fairy lights from Bubbly Jubbly Spa Hire.

Third prize is a bungee jump from Red Letter Days, with the fourth ticket being drawn out of the hat winning a four-yard skip hire donated by Jon King of King's Skips.

A number of other organisations have donated the other 45 prizes, including Travis Perkins, Shepton Mallet Tesco, Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre, Thatcher's Cider, Pillars 501 Gin Bar, Wyke Farms, the Prestleigh Inn, the Natterjack Inn, Bath Racecourse, Right Price DIY, Minsky's and Michael Eavis.
