Shed-Ache: A Seriously Silly Family Dance Theatre Show Comes to Shepton Mallet
Families in Shepton Mallet are invited to enjoy a joyful, high-energy morning of dance, laughter and imagination as Shed-Ache, a family dance theatre show by aka Dance Theatre, comes to Create8 this January.
Presented by Make the Sunshine CIC, Shed-Ache is a wild and playful performance that blends contemporary dance, physical comedy and visual storytelling to explore big feelings in a way that is accessible, funny and full of heart.
Described as "dance theatre's seriously silly show," Shed-Ache follows two energetic performers as they tumble, balance, spill and surprise their way through a world of sheds, sunflowers and unexpected mess. With buckets, flowers and plenty of physical humour, the show invites audiences of all ages to laugh together while gently reflecting on resilience, emotions and finding joy in everyday chaos.
Audience members have described the show as "wild and exciting with a wholesome message," while teachers have praised it as "high energy and highly recommended."
The performance takes place on Tuesday 13th January, 10:30am–11:30am at Create8, 8 Town Street, Shepton Mallet. The event is open to all, with tickets priced at £3 per person (plus £1 booking fee). Refreshments will be available.
Shed-Ache is ideal for families, early years audiences, home-educating families and schools looking for inspiring live arts experiences that spark laughter and imagination.
